Capoeira is a martial dance that has its roots in both Africa "Angola" and Brazil. The dance developed by African slaves in the colonies to fight the colonial power. It is said that slaves gathered in a ring "Roda" to exercise the Capoeira ritual in the form of dance, but what really took place was in fact a preparation to fight techniques.
There are two main styles of Capoeira, Angola and Regional. Capoeira is characterized by soft movements that are made either on the ground or in the air. In the ritual dance to traditional music sung and played by the performers. In the Roda (circle) is the two people as "toys" or dances Capoeira while the other participants, clap hands, sing and play instruments.
