You can travel to Mjølfjell Y.H. by car via Voss, but the easiest way is by train.

If you want to go by car:
Drive south from Voss Centre on RV 13.
Make a left turn towards Palmafossen and Mjølfjell.
Continue up the road, along the Raundalen Valley.
After approx. 1 hours you will reach the Mjølfjell Y.H and mountain lodge.

If you want to go by train:
You must step off the train at Ørnaberget Station.

6 km before you reach the hostel, there is a grocery store called Mjølfjell Servicestation.
It`s located at the Mjølfjell Railwaystation.

The youth hostel is situated close to the Bergen Railway, at the uppermost point of the Raundalen Valley.

A modern thoroughfare from Voss will bring you to our front door, where the historic construction road, known as the "Rallar" road begins.
This road is a spectacular gateway to the Hardangervidda mountain plateau which is popular for both summer and winter activities.

Mjølfjell Y.H. maintains a high standard with a total of 40 beds in rooms accomodating two to four people.
It is guest kitchen and it is 6 km to shop at Mjølfjell.
Our "Mountain Lodge" contains 19 double/family rooms, each with ensuite bathroom and offering full accessability to wheelchair users.
