Vangen Café

Homemade, organic, and locally sourced are key values at Vangen Café. High-quality ingredients and animal welfare are important to the café’s owners. The café uses meat from Selheim Farm in Voss, artisan baked goods from Vossavakst, and fresh fish from Bergen. Vangen Café also serves homemade cakes, lefse, and traditional sweet pastries.

Everything here is made from scratch, using good ingredients and a generous dose of love. Local suppliers are an important part of the story, and we are proud to serve flavours from our own village.

Vangen Café offers a wide selection of tempting dishes that change with the seasons, depending on available ingredients and produce. Some menu favourites have earned a permanent place thanks to their popularity with guests. Every Thursday, for example, you can enjoy traditional "raspekaker" made from scratch, served with meat, sausage, bacon, and coffee included.

The café serves dishes made with quality ingredients from local suppliers. Expect flavourful meals rooted in local traditions and food culture, including open sandwiches, soups, and sandwiches.

The weekly menu is updated every Monday. Every day, you’ll find traditional homemade dishes that you can enjoy in the café or take home for dinner.

All our cakes are perfect for celebrations or simply enjoying with a cup of coffee. Choose from delicious favourites like apple cake, "verdens veste", cheesecake, or perhaps our homemade braided pastry.
