Synssenteret Voss (optician) can be found on the second floor, above Coop Extra and Vinmonopolet, by the traffic lights in the center of Voss. The store first opened its doors in January 2004, and has since grown in size and number of full-time employees. Our core values are freedom of choice, consideration and expertise.

We are currently four optometrists working at Synsenteret Voss, two with master’s degrees and two with bachelor’s degrees, all with specialist expertise in contact lens fitting. In addition, we have four wonderful shop assistants. On a daily basis, we carry out thorough eye examinations, contact lens check-ups, and fit all types of glasses and contact lenses. When needed, we refer patients directly to an ophthalmologist. Our specialist areas include children’s vision, workplace optometry, dry eyes, low vision, and speciality contact lenses.

As authorised healthcare professionals, we take our professional responsibility seriously and stay closely updated on research and scientific developments within our broad and exciting field. We are an independently owned and operated store that is part of the national chain C-optikk. Through the chain, we benefit from shared purchasing agreements and professional collaboration.
