Voss Fellesbryggeri and Voss Bryggeri
The two breweries in Voss, Voss Fellesbryggeri and Voss Bryggeri, have joined forces to focus on the best of brewing traditions and culture.
Vossa has rich and long traditions for beer brewing.
Voss Fellesbryggeri:
Voss Fellesbryggeri is inspired by local traditions, but also the playfulness and humor that the locals people have. The beer is brewed by local beer enthusiasts who wish to build on the rich food and drink traditions of Voss and the surrounding areas. Their ambition is to make good quality beer available to people all over the country. All the beer is brewed on kveik. Kveik is a beer culture (read: beer yeast, yeast) that has very long traditions in Voss and gives the beer a unique and fresh taste.
Voss Bryggeri:
The beer is inspired by modern American and European craft beer and by old homebrewing traditions from Voss. The result is fresh hoppy beer with elements of local yeast (kveik) and juniper and herbs, berries and flowers from the mountains that surround us.
Our beer shouldn't make the world a better place, it should just seem that way.
