Experience Hanguren
Hanguren is the perfect place for both peaceful and active days in the mountains. In summer, you can go hiking, cycling, watch paragliders launching from the mountain, or simply enjoy the quiet and the views.
There are hiking options for all levels. The short and accessible Hanguren Panorama trail is a great choice for most visitors. This 800-metre loop is universally designed and features several beautiful viewpoints. Here you’ll also find the popular Hangur Swing—perfect for those looking for Instagram-worthy spots. Swing high above the village with views of mountains and fjords—an unforgettable moment that looks great on camera. Longer hikes, such as to the Red Cross cabin or further towards Lønahorgi, are ideal for those who want to explore more of the high mountains.
Food with a View
At the top station of the gondola, you’ll find Hangurstoppen Restaurant. Here, you can enjoy both hot and cold dishes, as well as refreshing drinks, all while taking in the mountain views. Perfect after a gentle walk!
Summer and Winter
Voss Resort and Hanguren are year-round destinations. In summer, hiking, cycling, and nature experiences take centre stage, while in winter the gondola takes you straight up to the ski resort.
