Every month, we’ll select a winner from among everyone who has submitted an entry. It doesn’t matter how many likes or comments the post has received. The most important thing is that the content reflects a genuine experience you’ve had in Voss.

Prizes will vary and may include, among other things:

  • accomodation for two
  • activities and experiences
  • dinner or a gift certificate at a restaurant
  • a gift certificate from Voss Sentrum
  • a ski pass or annual pass
  • a complete weekend in Voss

We draw one lucky winner during the first week of every month.

Here's how to participate

1. Experience something in Voss

Try an activity, visit a restaurant, a café, a store, a place to stay, an event or another local business in Voss.

2. Share the experience

Post a photo, a carousel, or a Reel on Instagram.

3. Tag and use the hashtag

To participate, you must:

  • tag @visitvoss
  • tag the business you visited
  • use the hashtag #VisOssVoss

That way, we'll be able to find your post when we review the hashtag.

Criteria for Participation

To be eligible, your post must:

  • be from Voss
  • feature a local experience, business or activity
  • be published on Instagram
  • be shared as a post, carousel or Reel

This could, for example, be content from an activity, restaurant, café, shop, accommodation provider, event or another place you would like to highlight.

To be entered into the prize draw, you must tag @visitvoss, tag the business you are visiting and use the hashtag #VisOssVoss. Tagging Visit Voss alone is not enough.

Your profile must be public when we review the posts. Both locals and visitors are welcome to take part.

We are looking for beautiful, inspiring content that showcases activities, experiences and businesses in Voss, and gives people a reason to visit. Your content should show what people can experience, taste, do or see in Voss.

So, no matter how lovely Mons the cat looks sitting in the yard, a photo of him on his own is not necessarily the kind of content that inspires people to experience Voss.

You do not need an expensive camera to take part. Content created with a mobile phone can be just as good.
 

When is the winner decided?

We select a winner during the first week of each new month.

We review the posts shared with the hashtag #visossvoss and check that they meet all the participation criteria. A winner is then selected at random from the eligible entries.
